Bug 93512 – kdevelop fails opening project files with "tag mismatch"

After creating a new project file with a wizard or from a template, kdevelop

After creating a new project file with a wizard or from a template, kdevelop   
shows a popup saying "Dies ist keine gültige Projektdatei. XML-Fehler in Zeile   
13, Spalte 11: tag mismatch" (this is no valid project file. xml error in line   
13, column 11).   
   
The project file is written to disk, but the loading of the project fails and 
I cannot do any development. 
   
The project file looks correct to me, at least there seem to be no xml syntax   
errors. This happens with kdevelop 3.1.2 and 3.2.0.  
  
Any ideas?

the tag mismatch always occurs right after the tag </general> (so in this file,
in line 13).

It seems this bug is known: http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=85458 
Please report it to kdevelop developers if it's still not fixed in the most 
recent version.
