emerge fails with above error.

Reproducible: Always




Removing   -Dsecure-rpc=false

from the list  local emesonargs=(

succeeds.

    x11-base/xwayland: Remove secure-rpc option
    
    The option was removed in upstream commit 71b207a2e ("os: drop SUN-DES-1
    authentication").
