Hi. I'm still using this package - at least the `blink1-tool`. A quick glance at the project's Github page showed that the original repository has been split and is actually still under development. I would be willing to take up the maintainership. Any hints on what to do next would be welcome. My first assumption would be to update the ebuild to EAPI=8.

Yes, please handle the EAPI bump urgently, and also handle the modern C bugs, and finally the version bump. All this should bring the package to the normal QA standards we have in Gentoo.
