Version 2.0.1 has been released. 

It contains some important improvements useful for packages depending on it (eg: lms::guru)

It also brings a lot of breakage to almost all revdeps and there hasn't been enough time to start working on this yet.

If anyone wants to work on it, look at (accidental and immediately reverted) commit 817fdd67ef41f9e4aa180476515b0e27cedad93a as base, but it must be initially masked and should be handled using a tracker bug to notify all revdep maintainers.
