I keep meaning to do this and forgetting... maybe a bug will help. https://github.com/libsdl-org/SDL/blob/main/docs/README-wayland.md#window-decorations-are-missing-or-the-decorations-look-strange >On some desktops (i.e. GNOME), Wayland applications use a library called libdecor to provide window decorations. If this library is not installed, the decorations will be missing. This library uses plugins to generate different decoration styles, and if a plugin to generate native-looking decorations is not installed (i.e. the GTK plugin), the decorations will not appear to be 'native'.
We can do this now libdecor is in tree.
It's automagic right now, actually. Ugh.
dep_option(SDL_WAYLAND_LIBDECOR "Use client-side window decorations on Wayland" ON "SDL_WAYLAND" OFF) dep_option(SDL_WAYLAND_LIBDECOR_SHARED "Dynamically load libdecor support" ON "SDL_WAYLAND_LIBDECOR;SDL_WAYLAND_SHARED" OFF)
