I have recently updated my system yesterday and after I experienced that if I emerge a package. My hostname breaks and defaults to localhost, which then breaks nfs. I also can no longer log into root via doas which worked before to initiate the emerge in the first place. The only fix was a reboot but then after I log back in the same issue constantly plagues me. I have a glibc gentoo vm and I don't think I experience the same issue there for some reason.

Let me know what I need to send to debug this because its preventing me from doing any work.

If I had to *completely* guess, I'd say it's bug 925311.

But otherwise, this is probably best suited to debugging on IRC or so until we figure out roughly what the cause is.
