In discord, emojis in channel names are not displayed correctly unless there's an emoji pack in one's system (this was my case). I installed media-fonts/noto-emoji and this fixed the issued. I thought that the net-im/discord ebuild could have an "emoji" USE flag that installs media-fonts/noto-emoji; so that users of the discord ebuild could have an "obvious" solution to this small emoji problem.
