the disk and the partitions on that disk should both belong to the "disk" group

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. ls -l /dev/hda* (substitute your hard drive here)

Just confirming, I have the same problem with udev 056...

Same here for IDE drives, permissions for SATA ones are correct (root:disk for both the disk and partitions).

While it seems that we have upstream attention, I´d like to ask whether I should open a new bug for missing SATA drive entries in /dev/discs (only my IDE disks there) and altogether missing /dev/scsi/... - certainly used to be there some time ago. Using udev-056.
