Description Paul Osmialowski 2023-11-09 00:53:28 UTC
For all the systems I have, Gentoo is the only where importing PDF files to the LibreOffice Draw (lodraw) program doesn't work. I guess pdfimport was not enabled when the binary package has been built.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Start lodraw
2. Try to open any PDF file
3.
Actual Results:
A binary mess not-human-readable is displayed

Expected Results:
The human-readable contents of the PDF file should be displayed

This is the KDE build of LibreOffice, namely:

[ebuild   R    ] app-office/libreoffice-bin-7.5.6.2::gentoo  USE="java kde -gnome" CPU_FLAGS_X86="sse2" PYTHON_SINGLE_TARGET="python3_11" 0 KiB

Unfortunately the only solution is for you to use app-office/libreoffice instead.
