I could not find evidence of upstream porting away from it. Please make them aware of the need to drop the dependency (ultimately required for port to Qt6 as well) or evaluate the importance of keeping javascript feature in the future.

Andreas, do you know what QT recommends porting to? (Unfortunately not much of an expert here). If there is a guide it would also be very helpful.
