https://blogs.gentoo.org/ago/2020/07/04/gentoo-tinderbox/ Issue: app-forensics/yara-4.3.2 fails tests (hang) (PYTHON-3.12-SYSTEM). Discovered on: amd64 (internal ref: python-3.12_tinderbox) NOTE: (PYTHON-3.12-SYSTEM) in the summary means that the bug was found on a machine that runs python-3.12 but this bug MAY or MAY NOT BE related to the new python version I had to kill the process.

Error(s) that match a know pattern: FAIL: test-exception
Unfortunately I cannot reproduce this issue, neither the failing test `test-exception` nor the two missing tests `test-api` and `test-rules` which one of them seems to consume all the time. `test-rules` was already a concern in bug 836790, but this issue seems to be different, so it's unlikely this is a regression although the fix of this bug was amended by upstream in the meantime. Without being able to reproduce the issue, I have no clue how to fix it. I am leaving this bug open for some time, but will close it with CANTFIX, if I can't make progress.
Mass-closing "PYTHON-3.12-SYSTEM" bugs. Most of them are either obsolete (i.e. packages have 3.12 support already), or report issues completely tangential to Python 3.12 support. Manually checking them is a waste of time.
