Hi, kchmviewer is a Qt-based viewer for Windows HTML Help (.chm) files, and supports many features such as searching (whole package or in-page), persistent bookmarks, support for international charsets, text-zooming, contents and index, browsing history, and viewing HTML-source. kchmviewer (http://kchmviewer.sf.net) is licensed under the GPL. It does not depend on any KDE libraries. Attached is an ebuild for kchmviewer-0.2 and a small patch to fix text-zooming for Qt versions below 3.3.4. Cheers, Arijit

I have added the current Version 0.3 to Portage now.
I have an access violation during compilation of the package. The ebuild lacks support for kde users (--with-kde configure option + KIO slave installation). The ebuild should be renamed to show that kchmviewer is still in alpha state development.

I changed the ebuild for Version 0.9 to actually use the kde-functions from the eclasses. This should also solve the sandbox-violations. The change should appear on the mirrors soon, can you try to sync and build again? Please re-open the bug if it still fails then.
