Seems those crafty libwww-perl writers snuck in a dep in one of the executables that went unnoticed. GET, the binary that comes with libwww-perl, needs HTML-Tree (which provides HTML::Parse) in order to function when run as: GET -o links http://www.ibm.com I'll do a version bump of libwww-perl for the dep to be taken down, but I need you kind arch's to bump/keyword HTML-Tree so repoman leaves me alone :) Thanks!

Come on, anyone?
HTML-Tree-3.18 marked as ~hppa
How do you even get libwww-perl to install GET, POST, etc.? I'm trying to get the 5.803 ebuild to just install those aliases, but it doesn't want to: Do you want to install lwp-request? [y] Do you want to install lwp-mirror? [y] Do you want to install lwp-rget? [y] Do you want to install lwp-download? [y] The lwp-request program will use the name it is invoked with to determine what HTTP method to use. I can set up alias for the most common HTTP methods. These alias are also installed in /usr/bin. Do you want to install the GET alias? [n] Do you want to install the HEAD alias? [n] Do you want to install the POST alias? [n] Checking for URI........... ok Checking for HTML::Parser.. ok Checking for MIME::Base64.. ok Checking for Net::FTP...... ok Checking for Digest::MD5 .. ok Checking if your kit is complete...
FWIW - looks like the newer version of libwww-perl doesn't dup lwp-request as HEAD/GET/POST but attempts to make symlinks of them (which get lost in the merge). Fixed in .803-r1
Thank you, Michael!
all set, tested on raq2
