Error(s) that match a know pattern:

t/ack-s.t .................... 1/4 cannot chdir to child for /var/tmp/portage/sys-apps/ack-3.7.0/temp/CetXkXXwiZ/foo: Permission denied at /usr/lib64/perl5/vendor_perl/5.36/File/Temp.pm line 2661.

I just hit this while in a massive "emerge -j2 -l5 @world" (thus with output not going to a terminal), setting up a new laptop; when I reran the build with just ack (and output going to the terminal, the tests all passed. So I guess the presence of $NO_COLOR in the environment breaks these three tests.

(I noticed that "cannot chdir ... Permission denied" in the output as it flew by, but the tests still passed.)

Jonathan, thank you for continuing to run tests. It is appreciated and I hope you keep it up. You end up hitting things which end up missed (even though I do run them).

I'll take a look.
