With the 2005.0 boot cd, using the default framebuffer + eye-candy theme, the blanking is missbehaving a bit. The screen goes black, but as the console now writes new character (since it for instance is doing an emerge) characters starts to apear in black, with the eye-candy as back-ground.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. boot up 2005.0 livecd, start something that takes a long time and wait for some minutes.

Actual Results:  
output comes on the blanked screen

Expected Results:  
the screen stays blank
