I get a 100% consistent crash trying to access the about screen in hal-device-manager-0.2.98. I checked the freedesktop.org bugzilla and didnt find any bugs like this, so it may be gentoo specific. Here's the output from Bug Buddy (not sure how useful it is): Backtrace was generated from '/usr/bin/hal-device-manager' (no debugging symbols found)...Using host libthread_db library "/lib/tls/libthread_db.so.1". h-d-m is a developers tool and as such can't be regarded stable. Anyway, recent versions of hal have this fixed already.
