Description Lars Strojny 2005-04-16 13:11:05 UTC
Originally this program is called "inotify-glib" and could be used to track filesystem activity via /dev/inotify. Looks quite sensible to have it for security-related stuff.
I renamed the program to have some sense in it. So I guess inotify-track is more sensible than inotify-glib.

Is there any chance getting this in portage?

have a look at inotify-tools (see bug #142189)

FYI, =sys-fs/inotify-tools-2.2 is in portage now (~x86).
Comment 5 Lars Strojny 2006-09-11 01:49:08 UTC
inotify-tools does the job.
