oh... those deps are only for USE=test

Masking sys-libs/libnbd[test] can work around this.

I don't follow - if libguestfs is the problem, that'd need to get masked through nbdkit[libguestfs], no?
I'm fine with doing that.  I lack the time needed to figure out OCaml and libguestfs.

    profiles/base: Mask sys-block/nbdkit[libguestfs]
    
    This flag is dependency heavy and is blocking the stabilization of
    dev-util/poke through a test dependency.
