Description schmitt953 2022-12-28 06:46:47 UTC
I used a thunderbolt dock (OWC) with an Emmulex sfp+ card and a Sonnet sfp+ card. Those docks worked well before updating my old laptop image. After doing an update and installing KDE (without boltd, boltd bricked some docks) I was able to connect to the docks I used before but not any new docks. Did something change that pulls from a whitelist or a history of thunderbolt docks and pci express devices that got connected?

I'd love to know if there is a way to temporarily "disable" the security or permanantly do that.

I was able to install tbtadmin but also pci express hotplug does not seem to work well on this laptop.

Sorry, but I have no idea who to assign this bug to. If you could narrow it down to some specific package(s) that are malfunctioning, that would help with assignment.
