Mips64emul has changed its name to GXemul because it is no longer a MIPS only emulator. I'm not sure how one would migrate this app. Perhaps in a similar way that firebird became firefox. Creating a new space for the new emulator and renaming the old ebuild should suffice. Some general changes in the new release include Basic MIPS PDA emulation (capable of booting and installing NetBSD/HPCmips) Improved DEC PMAX emulation Basic PPC support (Bebox) Skeletons for Alpha, Sparc and PA/RISC emulation
Created attachment 55837 [details] A working ebuild for gxemul This is just the mips64emul ebuild with the names changed to build gxemul. I don't know how to make it upgrade mips64emul to gxemul. On my system. I just unmerged mips64emul and emerged gxemul.
app-emulation/mips64emul has been moved to app-emulation/gxemul in CVS. Thanks!
