Whenever I try to run azurues, it will run for a little bit and then it will crash with the following output: Attempting to start Azureus... # # An unexpected error has been detected by HotSpot Virtual Machine: # # SIGSEGV (0xb) at pc=0x00002aaafd6d38fb, pid=13012, tid=46912501713664 # # Java VM: Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (1.5.0_02-b09 mixed mode) # Problematic frame: # C [libqtengine.so+0x148fb] setColors+0x81b # # An error report file with more information is saved as /tmp/hs_err_pid13012.log # # If you would like to submit a bug report, please visit: # http://java.sun.com/webapps/bugreport/crash.jsp # /usr/bin/azureus: line 54: 13012 Aborted java -cp $CLASSPATH -Djava.library.path="${AZDIR}" org.gudy.azureus2.ui.swt.Main "$1" If you recieved an error about a missing java class, you need to setup your classpath correctly. Is this an issue any more... the version reported is quite dated...
No, it's no longer an issue. I think that I had some bad RAM and that was causing the crashes. However, 2.1.0.4 is still the latest stable version of azureus-bin in portage (for amd64), so I wouldn't quite call it dated. Because it was a hardware problem and there's nothing anyone can do about it, I'm changing the status to CANTFIX.
