Description Mark Piper 2005-04-06 13:34:54 UTC
emerge media-sound/amarok from x86 (latest version available: 1.2.1)
compile fails with libtool: link: cannot find the library `/usr/lib/libmusicbrainz.la'

It looks like that library isn't listed as a dependency in any of the ebuilds.

Reproducible: Always

The dependency is implied by media-libs/tunepimp. Does /usr/lib/libmusicbrainz.la exist? If yes, what's the output of `grep var/tmp /usr/lib/libmusicbrainz.la`? Are there other libmusicbrainz.la files somewhere in your system?
