sci-electronics/eagle Version 7.7.0 is the latest version using original licensing, and the only version that accepts original Cadsoft license. Version 7 marks the end of "The" Cadsoft Eagle we all know and love, and is inherently incompatible with Autodesk Eagle, which at this point is simply a diffrent product. There are many arguments for keeping version 7 separate, but the most important one is that simply, updating beyond 7.7.0 invalidates the license, even the purchase-to-own lifetime license. Therefore, upgrading above 7.7.0 breaks this package. Reproducible: Always
