Hey guys, this is bad :(
After updating to alsa-1.0.9_rc2, artsd stopped working giving me a segmentation fault, after playing around with artsd options I took a look at dmesg and found this:

I get an simular error on amd64 platform. 
My kernel is gentoo-sources-2.6.11-r5.

Please be specific when reporting alsa bugs.  What version of the drivers are you using?  What version of alsa-lib?  When you say 'alsa-<version>', that's ambiguous.  Is this caused when BOTH are updated? Just the lib?  Please state this info in bug #87544.  Thanks.
