I've made some ebuilds for Galago. For more information on Galago, go to http://www.galago.info/ I'm sure they're flakey and indeed not pretty, so please test and submit reports.

To try them out you'll need to: # emerge subversion # svn co http://svn.galago.info/trunk/ebuilds /usr/local/portage # echo PORTAGE_OVERLAY="/usr/local/portage" >>/etc/make.conf # emerge gaim-galago (or whatever package you want to install) Please test and report!
libgalago, galago-daemon, and libgalago-gtk ebuilds all compile cleanly on ppc I don't use gnome or gaim desktop stuff so I'm not sure how to test it further...
I've KEYWORD'ed the ebuilds ~ppc in the SVN repo. Thanks alot for your testing!

Ebuilds now live in Gentopia @ https://dev.cardoe.com/gentopia/svn/overlay/ as per zahreem's request. Added a few corrections and changes. galago's repos are down (for a couple of days now), also is their homepage... plz add some alt repos...

Some stuff of this is in the tree already, isn't it? What about libgalago-gtk?
libgalago-gtk is in bmg, dang's overlay and gentopia.
well, I am planning on adding the next release of libgalago-gtk when its actually useful again. The current packages can not build against the latest release, which is why I am holding off on bumping them.
Are we going to get all the packages updated soon for 0.5.0/0.5.1? And will gaim-galago be added?
The updates are already in portage. Thought I had added gaim-galago, but I hadnt, did that.
Nothing atm uses libgalago-gtk, so Im gonna hold off until thats useful, marking this as fixed, as the rest of the things are in portage. If you feel that the other bindings should be in portage, just let me know (via a bug assigned to me, or through email).
