Xine (xine-libs-1.0) segfaults after alsa-libs-1.0.9-rc1 is emerged.  Re-emerging xine-libs amd xine-ui does not clear the problem.  Running xine in verbose mode shows it is probing for alsa at the time of the segfault.  Putting >alsa-libs-1.0.8 in /etc/portage/package.mask and re-emerging alsa-libs cures the problem.
