When I'm trying to emerge the latest GLIBC (non masked) it fails everytime.

new system installed from 2004.3 universal cd
using Adaptec 29320 Ultra320 SCSI adapter w/seagate scsi hard drive

P4 3GHz, tried with hyperthreading disabled & enabled

Intel D875PBZ Motherboard

1 gig ddr400 RAM

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge glibc
2. error occurs
3.
