I have a T22 IBM ThinkPad running The latest
burkitts ~ $ uname -a
Linux burkitts 2.6.11-gentoo-r3 #1 Wed Mar 9 21:11:49 PST 2005 i686 Pentium III(Coppermine) GenuineIntel GNU/Linux


I try to keep by laptop current.  I ran an emerge sync followed by emerge 
world

below is the pertenant info:
