Version 0.40.0 is rather outdated (from Feb. 2021). Could we please have the newer 1.0.0 version instead in the tree? Thank you!
I haven't done this yet because it requires a newer dev-libs/libwacom which breaks ABI compatibility. We need to add subslot operators to all reverse dependencies of libwacom before we can add the new version. Reverse dependencies of libwacom are: - dev-libs/libinput - gnome-base/gnome-control-center - gnome-extra/cinnamon-control-center - gnome-extra/cinnamon-settings-daemon - kde-misc/wacomtablet - x11-drivers/xf86-input-wacom - x11-wm/mutter

I've added the new versions, under package.mask for now until reverse dependencies of libwacom are updated. Please give it a test.
