I'm updating a stable amd64 machine after about a month, so both cppy and setuptools (and kiwisolver) are all behind. The problem is described here https://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-t-1149335-start-0.html I'm guessing that trying to rebuild cppy on one of my up-to-date machines will also fail. Reproducible: Always
Huh, hadn't realized >=61 got stabled already, guess would've been useful for old cppy to depend on <61 to avoid these mixups.
