Comment 1 Gregorio Guidi (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-03-02 01:56:48 UTC
That's strange, it works fine here.
Comment 2 Simone Piunno 2005-03-02 05:04:43 UTC
After removing doc from use flag (by addind appropriate line to /etc/portage/package.use) it compiled successfully.
Maybe this is the difference?
Comment 3 Gregorio Guidi (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-03-02 05:33:44 UTC
There's no 'doc' flag in kdepim...
Comment 4 Juergen Kaetzler 2005-03-03 08:02:02 UTC
OK, to make this something more strange: trying emerging kdepim-3.4.0_rc1 gave me the error that Simone reported...

make[3]: *** [index.cache.bz2] Error 1

Just added "kde-base/kdepim -doc" to /etc/portage/package.use and tried to recompile kdepim. After kdelibs were recompiled kdepim emerged fine.

Comment 5 Simone Piunno 2005-03-03 12:09:43 UTC
feeww... I'm glad I'm not the only one to have had this oddity.
I was seriously afraid I was getting mad :)
Comment 6 Gregorio Guidi (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-05-12 10:19:23 UTC
Is this still a problem?
Comment 7 Gregorio Guidi (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-06-08 15:47:23 UTC
Seems it's not an issue anymore.
