I believe the URI git://github.com/cschwan/sage-on-gentoo.git should be removed following some changes from github themselves. https://github.blog/2021-09-01-improving-git-protocol-security-github/ Unauthenticated use of git:// is not supported anymore. The https:// URI should be syncing happily. It does so here.
