Description Alessandro Barbieri 2022-02-07 20:21:32 UTC
Could you lift the multilib restriction for the latest mbrola version?

Please be more verbose/specific.
Comment 2 Alessandro Barbieri 2022-02-07 21:19:47 UTC
Seems that app-accessibility/mbrola-3.3-r1 us built from source now. Having it restricted on multilib doesn't make sense

This bug isn't concerning mbrola itself but about the masking of mbrola in amd64 no-multilib profile.

I think amd64 arch team will be more interested in this, adding them to CC.

From root/profiles/arch/amd64/no-multilib/use.mask:

# Christoph Mende <> (2007-08-29)
# app-accessibility/mbrola is x86 only

and likewise in root/profiles/arch/amd64/no-multilib/package.mask:

# AMD64 Team <>
# Mask packages that rely on amd64 multilib
