Issue: app-shells/bash-3.1_p23 fails to compile.
Discovered on: amd64 (internal ref: tinderbox)

NOTE:
This machine uses clang as a compiler and lld as a linker

Can we drop bash < 4.0 from the tree? What uses it? It apparently haven't been compiling in a long time now...
