Created attachment 755950 [details] kde-misc/zanshin-21.11.80 test log It appears the maximum unix socket path length is being reached when running tests through the emerge process. For example, the newly added package kde-misc/zanshin-21.11.80 fails tests with the following: org.kde.pim.akonadiserver: akonadiSocketDirectory() length of 108 is longer than the system limit 108 org.kde.pim.akonadiserver: Unable to listen on Unix socket "/var/tmp/portage/kde-misc/zanshin-21.11.80/temp/run/akonadi/instance/testrunner-338/ak onadiserver-cmd.socket" : "QLocalServer::listen: Name error" I'm not sure if this can even be fixed aside from waiting for KDE Gear 21.12 (3 less characters), or moving my portage tmpdir into /tmp. Any ideas? Cheers kde-misc/zanshin-21.11.80 test log attached
Nothing we can do there imo except what you already mentioned. akonadi tests are already disabled in incidenceeditor because of the same issue, https://gitweb.gentoo.org/repo/gentoo.git/commit/?id=923384ceebbb32c6cf9b8120aaff980ff47ff4eb.
Thanks for the response. I'll go through the test failures I have for 21.11.80 and send a PR to ::kde excluding the max socket length tests if that sounds good? Assuming there are 21.12.{1,2,3} etc.
21.11.90 is due tomorrow, maybe start testing only then.
