Description Albert Lash 2005-02-17 16:53:42 UTC
When I emerge the mysql-4.0.22-r2, it compiles fine, but then other packages that are dependent upon it break.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Emerge mysql-4.0.22
2.
3.
Actual Results:
It emerged OK, then I emerged courier-imap, which coincidentally changed from authdaemond to
courier-authd, confusing me big time.

Expected Results:
Installed the shared libraries into /usr/lib or /usr/lib/mysql

This bug can cause other software to break and become unusable immediately after install.

This bug does not seem resolved at all. If it was first discovered over a month ago, why did it fault me now, if I emerge sync'd today?
