After upgrade I could not use alsa. The problem: Permission denied.

This is the problem with devices in /dev/snd/*. They all belongs to root:root, instead of root:audio.

Patch follows.

This seems to be fixed in udev-0.52. But I don't know what resolution to choose...

The bug is in udev-0.51 and is not in 0.52. So there was no fix in 0.51...

May be WONTFIX? I don't think that anybody will fix something that is already fixed...
