>default/linux/amd64/17.1/hardened It's unlikely I can help but I'll ask because of this. By any chances are you either using CONFIG_SLUB_DEBUG_ON or passing slub_debug=P on the kernel command line? Try without if you are. Known to cause issues with chromium, extending to electron wouldn't be a surprise.

I don't have CONFIG_SLUB_DEBUG_ON but I do use extra kernel params: "slub_debug=P page_poison=1 slab_nomerge pti=on" because they were recommended on https://kernsec.org/wiki/index.php/Kernel_Self_Protection_Project/Recommended_Settings. I'll try to play with this and tell the results.
