Last line of emerge output are: /var/tmp/portage/openoffice-bin-1.0.1/image/opt/OpenOffice.org1.0.1/program/liblth641li.so /var/tmp/portage/openoffice-bin-1.0.1/image/opt/OpenOffice.org1.0.1/program/gnomeint >>> Completed installing into /var/tmp/portage/openoffice-bin-1.0.1/image/ --------------------------- ACCESS VIOLATION SUMMARY ---------------------------LOG FILE = "/tmp/sandbox-openoffice-bin-1.0.1-4626.log" open_wr: /share/psprint/pspfontcache open_wr: /user/psprint/pspfontcache --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Additional information: You can get OOo to finish the merge and install if you do a # cd / # mkdir -p /user/psprint/pspfontcache # mkdir -p /share/psprint/pspfontcache But when you run ooffice the first time it gives error messages about not being able to find files it's trying to copy over (presumably from /opt/OpenOffice.org to $HOME/OpenOffice.org), and then when the app runs it gives the 'unrecoverable error' message.
I also have the same problem.
I also have the same problem. This only appears to happen with a fresh install. My wife's system had the previous release and I upgraded without a problem.
This also happens with a clean source emerge (subject references -bin) of openoffice 1.0.1 r1 , from a fresh 1.4_rc1 gentoo installation.
I also have the same problem on a clean install of oo 1.0.1 r1 with an install of gentoo 1.4 rc1
Me 3, but workaround works for me.
