Additional information:

You can get OOo to finish the merge and install if you do a
# cd /
# mkdir -p /user/psprint/pspfontcache
# mkdir -p /share/psprint/pspfontcache

But when you run ooffice the first time it gives error messages about not being
able to find files it's trying to copy over (presumably from /opt/OpenOffice.org
to $HOME/OpenOffice.org), and then when the app runs it gives the 'unrecoverable
error' message.

I also have the same problem.
Comment 3 Paul Slinski 2002-09-23 13:55:32 UTC
I also have the same problem.

This only appears to happen with a fresh install. My wife's system had the
previous release and I upgraded without a problem.
Comment 4 Dana Powers 2002-10-25 08:58:45 UTC
This also happens with a clean source emerge (subject references -bin) of
openoffice 1.0.1 r1 , from a fresh 1.4_rc1 gentoo installation.
Comment 5 Bobby Carroll 2002-10-31 15:21:10 UTC
I also have the same problem on a clean install of oo 1.0.1 r1 with an install
of gentoo 1.4 rc1
