Last I heard on this package was that it was broken, though I don't know in which way. Someone needs to step up and fix this package and merge it, or it will be masked when we unmask the rest.
i tried to fix the ebuild, and even got the Makefile fixed, but apache segfaults with mod_authenticache enabled: Program received signal SIGSEGV, Segmentation fault. mod_authenticache (is, unless anything has been heavily changed in the source) is totally broken in threaded MPM's..
should it work with non-threaded mpm?
It should.. *shrug*
doesn't... i recompiled with prefork, segfaults as well
This module has been broken for months now (it it's not segfaults, it's been compile errors &c), so I'd like to propose a punting. :) Anyone against sticking this in package.mask now and removing later?
+1 for removal.
actually hardmasked. to be removed soon. (the sooner the better)
Resolve this as FIXED when the package is removed. Please don't close the bugs I opened re: the refresh as wontfix, address the issue, then resolve them as fixed.
net-www/mod_authenticache has been removed from the tree.
