Hi, I have done a cal3d-cvs ebuild. It is mainly the cal3d-0.9.1 ebuild with the cvs stuff added.
You can find it at http://home.arcor.de/bashork/gentoo/cal3d-cvs-ebuild.tar.bz2

It inludes the directory tree, starting at portage. (media-libs/cal3d-cvs/...)
So you only have to unzip it into /usr/portage and don't have to create digests and that stuff.

I hope this will find it's way into the portage cvs.

Sorry, we don't add cvs ebuilds as we can't assure the quality and can't fix bugs when the pop up. That said I added cal3d-0.10.0 a few days ago.
