Description Evildad 2005-01-21 08:58:33 UTC
When i try to start Lineakd it does nothing and my CPU load goes up to 99%

I have tried to run lineakd with the option
# lineakd -l
I have disabled the USE Flag xosd but there's the same behaviour.
Then I have enabled the xosd Flag and it does exactly the same
It always does nothing and my CPU load goes up to 99%
This happens when i start is as a normal user.
I've tried to run it as root and this ist what dmesg tells me

"lineakd[12406]: segfault at 00000001005193b7 rip 0000002a95a20064 rsp
0000007fbfffeb50 error 4"

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.run /usr/bin/lineakd
2. it does nothing and CPU load goes up to 99%

Perhaps slarti can comment on that.
Comment 2 Evildad 2005-02-20 06:56:01 UTC
I solved the Problem with the Lineak Maintainer.
The newest CVS Version works without Problems...
Comment 3 Stefan Schweizer (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-03-12 06:44:56 UTC
this should be fixed with 0.8.3. Please reopen if it does not work
