Description Skyler Mäntysaari 2021-05-03 02:01:11 UTC
As the previous request of rc was marked as wontfix, I hope this will have better success.

I don't know plans to stabilize 21.x branch, but 21.0.3 was added to the tree only ~11 days ago so it's kind of early.

So after the latest stable update to mesa-21.0.3 I was hit by this problem:
https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/mesa/mesa/-/issues/4811
(continuation of:)
https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/mesa/mesa/-/issues/4691

I have 5700 XT. After applying this patch:
https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/bnieuwenhuizen/mesa/-/commit/93eb334093467272ad3028a62c515df3fb88bcb5.patch
(from:)
https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/bnieuwenhuizen/mesa/-/commit/93eb334093467272ad3028a62c515df3fb88bcb5

everything works for me. So from what I can tell, this patch didn't make it to 21.0.3. Could you consider the possibility of applying this distro-wide?
