Description Bernard Niset 2005-01-18 02:01:52 UTC
emerge gtk+ is apparently still refering to gcc 3.3.4. which is not existin anymore.

/bin/sed: can't read /usr/lib/gcc-lib/i686-pc-linux-gnu/3.3.4/libstdc++.la: No such file or directory
libtool: link: `/usr/lib/gcc-lib/i686-pc-linux-gnu/3.3.4/libstdc++.la' is not a valid libtool archive

As the problem seems to come from libtool, I re-emerge libtool but that didn't help.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge gcc to get gcc 3.3.5
2. emerge gtk+

Actual Results:

Expected Results:
emerge gtk+ should not fail.
I emerged gtk+ on another machine still using gcc 3.3.4 without any problem.
