After i upgraded gcc 3.3.4 to gcc 3.3.5, I had problems with failed ebuilds. k3b, kdelibs and gtk+ would fail to emerge with an error of undefined reference to /usr/lib/gcc-lib/i386-pc-linux-gnu/3.3.4/libstdc++.so Some trial and error and after reemerging libtiff the problem disappeard. It seems there is some reference to the absolute path of .../3.3.4/libstdc++ in the libtiff package is present. This should not be dependent on the actual version of the compiler and is probably a bug. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3. can you run fix_libtool_files.sh 3.3.4 as root and see if that fixes your problems.
