Description basic 2005-01-08 09:12:16 UTC
there are some gnustep apps that fail with when emerged with 'doc' use flag. There error looks something like this:

QA Notice: USE Flag 'doc' not in IUSE for gnustep-libs/pdfkit-0.8-r2

!!! ERROR: gnustep-libs/pdfkit-0.8-r2 failed.
!!! Function egnustep_doc, Line 221, Exitcode 1
!!! no Makefile found

I've had problems with pdfkit-0.8-r2, projectcenter-0.4.1_pre20041203 mylibrary-0.4.5g-r1 stepulator-1.0-r1 and pantomime-1.2.0_pre20041203.
There may be others I've not tried. I'll try take a look at the ebuild/eclass soon if someone doesn't beat me to it.

Reproducible: Always

what is the output of `emerge info`.

Please remember to include this anytime you submit bugs; thanks.

Seems this topic was discussed somewhat on the gentoo-gnustep mailing list.

Doesn't look like the user actually reported this (unless basic@mozdev.org really did report this), somehow.

More info is needed or I cannot fix this bug.

Without more info, I'm closing this bug soon.

`emerge info` is definitely needed (as well as other info likely)

At this point (w/o more info) _bash_ would have to be failing, which is somewhat unlikely ;-)
