Release in Oct 2020. Apparently still depends on gtk-sharp:2. * Add plugin to allow copying the current offset to clipboard (gh #15). * Fix display of Courier font glyphs (gh #25). * Use Gtk.Builder for UI loading, drop libglade (gh #2). * Move to the meson build system, drop autotools. * Fix crash when plugins directory path is a file (gh #32). * Add binary+ASCII layout file (gh #23). * Fix issue with statusbar not showing all information (gh #14).
Thanks for letting me know, I'm not sure what I can do about gtk-sharp:2, but I've bumped the ebuild anyway (in commit 4514d892d9c0), since it now builds using meson which seems to make things just work more easily. 5:)
Is there any alternative that could be advertised instead? This is only one of two applications effectively blocking cleanup.
Even if upstream converted their application to gtk-sharp-3, support for gtk-sharp-3 within gentoo seems to be non-existent? As such I suspect that this tool will end up being removed one way or another. I have however asked if there are any plans for porting to gtk-sharp-3 just in case: https://github.com/afrantzis/bless/issues/42 I've not found any alternatives of the same quality and speed as bless.
