http://packages.gentoo.org/ebuilds/?gnupg-1.9.14 lists a licence for gnupg as "idea?" in addition to GPL-2 and IDEA. how does idea? differ from IDEA? also, when you click on "idea?," we are redirected to a cvs checkout for an item which does not exist. following the link for "idea?" we come to http://www.gentoo.org/cgi-bin/viewcvs.cgi/*checkout*/licenses/idea? , which gives me this: An Exception Has Occurred ViewCVS Messages /cgi-bin/viewcvs.cgi/licenses/idea: unknown location HTTP Response Status 404 Not Found Python Traceback Traceback (most recent call last): File "/var/www/localhost/viewcvs/lib/viewcvs.py", line 3044, in main run_viewcvs(server) File "/var/www/localhost/viewcvs/lib/viewcvs.py", line 3005, in run_viewcvs % request.url, '404 Not Found') ViewCVSException: 404 Not Found: /cgi-bin/viewcvs.cgi/licenses/idea: unknown location www@gentoo.org
note that the cvs checkout url above is incorrect (bugzilla truncated the "?") it should be "http://www.gentoo.org/cgi-bin/viewcvs.cgi/*checkout*/licenses/idea?" WITH the "?"
it includes a component of the idea license if the idea use flag is used. see bug #72640 I never considered the impact on packages.gentoo.org sorry it stuffed up however I don't have away to represent conditional licenses on use flags. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 72640 ***
