Although i understand that acpi causes *some* problems, for some of us it is
vital since it provides  the only way of cleanly shuting down many recent
laptops...  So, it would be great that the acpi patch would appear in the last
gentoo-sources and xfs-sources, even if as a commented option, enabled
voluntarly by the user ...

Yeah, when's mjc going to release a newer version of his super kernel?  I think
that's help a lot.  No offense lolo, but your's is missing a few patches.

merged in the latest lolo-sources as a local use var... USE="acpi4linux" will go
into xfs-sources when I have time to update them...
