Hi, I see that upstream has already resolved this issue. Please see, https://github.com/pazz/alot/pull/1511 Is it possible to patch our current versions of alot to work with notmuch2 python bindings, or perhaps package a snapshot under 0.9.1_p<date-when-last-buildable-commit-was-made>?
Hey Joonas, yes I have followed this patch closely. (In reply to Joonas Niilola from comment #0) > I see that upstream has already resolved this issue. Yes that could be possible to backport the patch, but due to the size of it I prefered to wait the next release to bump. I have seen the refactoring of the new maintainer of notmuch, so I guess the 'dropping the old python module' subject is back. I understand the urgency, and I have reported to alot and afew, so as the patches exist I will backport them in a bump.
Sorry, I meant to tag this in the 0.10 bump. It's fixed in that.
